Rune shrugged, "Nothing's broken, I think.." So, no problem right? Why were they all weird? Like... concerned? It wasn't normal. He shrugged again and limped over to the man at the counter. "Step's broken..." he muttered again. He received a once over, "A lightweight like you broke the step... never mind, it was probably dry rotted or something. I'll get it fixed, don't worry 'bout it." Rune nodded and went back to the others. After a few moments, his brows knit in confusion, and he asked Taro, "Did you just call me sir?"

"Umm.. yes I did sir... I mean... I was just trying to be polite is all..." He blushed a bit. He was on edge around Rune. He didn't want to get on the other's bad side that was for sure.

"That's great to hear," Louisa beamed. "If you had broken your leg I don't believe I would have been able to remember how to set a bone. I did once... I mean at least I think I did. Now that is very interesting," she finished speaking after a few blinks of her dark grey eyes in confusion. But when Taro spoke again the dark haired woman once more beamed. It took all her will power not to give the boy a hug. He was just absolutely and totally adorable. "Being polite is nice," she agreed in an odd way that made it sound as though she rarely acted as such.

"I know how to fall without breaking bones," the purple haired boy said nonchalantly. It wasn't a big deal now was it? While... he didn't want to have to go to the hospital. The people there got annoyed if he misbehaved and played with their toys and stuff. How could a boy like him resist so many shiny pointy objects?
"Is it?" Rune asked innocently, who hardly knew the meaning of the word 'polite'. In any case, polite was something other people had to be, not him. While he could let Taromi continue stuttering and stammering and such, and he did for a while because he was inwardly amused by it, he shrugged, "You can call me sir if you like, though Rune works just as well. I think I'm going to take a break." Meaning he was going to take a nap, though few people knew Rune-speak.

Taro blinked some. He didn't want to just stand there but he had no idea what he should do, he barely knew what his job would entail... when did they want him to start? Now? "...Excuse me, but... when should I um... when should I start?"

"So you do know," Lou blinked at Rune. "Well, I guess there is no surprise there. Some people know how to fall, some people don't. I guess it is a good thing you do. Anyways after a while the hospital loses its appealing qualities after a bit," she shrugged without really caring that is sounded as though she had read Rune's thoughts. "Being polite is nice but then again sometimes it is hard to be all the time and... Eek, I can't believe it. The time," Louisa exclaimed. Without explanation the dark haired woman turned abruptly toward the door. Just as quickly she turned back. "Rune, I'll be here three days from now, 'kay. And it is nice to meet you Mr. Taromi," she said grabbing hold of the boy's hand and shaking it. However, as Lou let go of Taro's hand something else came to mind. Risking to be even more late she asked what someone might call an important question. "Rune, are you sure it is OK for my ice demon to come here?"

The purple haired boy shrugged, "There really isn't anything to do at the moment... it's not like there are any customers here, 'cept for Louisa." He looked at the older male at the counter, who shrugged. "Hmpf. Suppose you could take a look around the store, for now. I haven't seen you in here before. It'd make sense to know what you're going to be selling..." Rune coughed slightly, his throat slightly irritated. He didn't really talk all that often. "It's definately alright," Rune said, nodding for emphasis, smiling at Lou. "See you then."
